Now I don't like to only blog when I have negative things to say, I believe in giving praise where it is due so here it is.
I was at one of the city train stations on Friday and it was late and I was really hungry so I did something I don't usually do, I went to seek temporary sustenence from a vending machine on the platform. I usually don't do this beacuse (a) they are filled with junk food and (b) I hardly carry any cash with me and especially never any coins but I happened to have some gold coins on me (I think that's why I don't carry cash, I'd only spend it!) So anyway I found the choc chip macadamia nut cookie in the machine so put in my money for that one. I put in $2 coin and it got stuck so in a fit of stupidity I added a $1 coin hoping it would somehow dislodge. It didn't, I think the slot was full of coins that were stuck. So without trying to look like a vandal or freak or quietly bashed the machine for a while before looking at it with anger until my train arrived.
So today I called Coca Cola to tell them of my misfortune and within one minute they had taken my details and apologised and assured me that a $3 refund was on the way. Now that is how you do business, you don't argue with me or say it's tough luck, you apologise, recitfy the problem and move on! Not that I drink soft drink, but if I did I would be sure to have an extra can of coke tonight in celebratory thanks to the people at Coca Cola!
